Proposed Kojonup Wind Farm and Transmission Line Infrastructure

The Shire of Kojonup has received a Development Application in the Jingalup locality proposing:

· 33 wind turbine generators which are 125m to hub height, 206m from ground to tip height, have a blade radius of 79m and a rotor diameter of 158m;

· A 20km long underground transmission corridor; and

· Associated infrastructure including a substation, battery energy storage system, layout areas, operations and maintenance building, unsealed access tracks, underground cables, construction compounds, temporary concrete batching plant and fire water tanks.

The application is available for inspection at https://www.kojonup.wa.gov.au or can be viewed at the Shire office during office hours up to and including 9 January 2026.

Prior to the application being assessed by the Shire and determined by the Regional Development Assessment Panel, you have the opportunity to provide your views.

Written submissions on the Development Application must be made in writing and lodged with the undersigned on or before 2.00pm 9 January 2026.
