Development Application
Proposed Kojonup Battery Energy Storage System
Lot 3194 (No. 3680) Collie-Changerup Road, Kojonup
The Shire of Kojonup has received a Development Application to establish a battery energy storage system (BESS) approximately 3km north-west of the Kojonup townsite.
The application is available for inspection at https://www.kojonup.wa.gov.au/shire/documents/development-applications.aspx or is at the Shire office during office hours up to and including 27th July 2026.
Prior to the application being assessed by the Shire and determined by the Regional Development Assessment Panel, the Community has an opportunity to provide feedback to the Shire on the application.
Written comments can be emailed to council@kojonup.wa.gov.au or posted to PO Box 163, Kojonup WA 6395.
Written submissions on the Development Application must be made in writing and lodged with the undersigned on or before 27th July 2026.
