Call for Nominations - Muradup Community Advisory Committee - Community Member Vacancies

The Shire of Kojonup invites nominations from community-minded individuals to serve as members of the Muradup Community Advisory Committee.
The Muradup Community Advisory Committee is an advisory committee of the Shire of Kojonup established under the Local Government Act 1995. The Committee meets periodically to consider matters affecting the Muradup community and to provide recommendations to Council. It provides advice to Council on matters relevant to the Muradup locality, the townsite and its community.
We are seeking community members who:
• Reside, own property, or have a strong connection to the Muradup townsite and locality.
• Have an interest in the sustainable development and wellbeing of the Muradup community.
• Can contribute constructively to advisory discussions and committee processes.
• Are able to commit to attending scheduled committee meetings.
Time Commitment
Members are expected to attend committee meetings as scheduled. Meeting frequency will be determined by the Committee and will meet a minimum twice per annum. Attendance at site visits or community consultation events may also be required from time to time.
How to Apply
Interested persons are invited to request the terms of reference for the committee and a nomination form from the Shire and submit the completed nomination form prior to the closing date.
