LIFEGUARDS

The Shire of Kojonup is recruiting several Lifeguards to join our team for the 2026/2027 pool season commencing in November 2026 and finishing in April 2027 (approx.). Ideally, candidates will be available from November through to April, however, for the right candidate we can be flexible as we understand applicants may have other overlapping commitments such as University or TAFE.

We’re looking for applicants with varied experience, so junior lifeguards are encouraged to apply!

Not a certified Pool Lifeguard but interested in becoming one? Royal Life Saving are offering a 4-day Pool Lifeguard course for FREE with several different locations to complete the course available!

Employment offer

This role will be offered on a permanent basis at an hourly rate of $51.04 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) plus superannuation.

For the right candidate, the Shire may be able to assist with accommodation at a reduced rate, subject to availability.
