Sporting Complex
New oval lighting
With funding assistance from the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries’ Community Sport and Recreation Facilities Fund, the Shire have completed the installation of new lights for the top Oval at the Sports Precinct.
These new lights bring the oval up to WAFL match standard for night games, a huge increase in visibility compared to the previous system.
With Geoff from Navigator Photografix on site before and after the installation, the drone footage shows the massive improvements for users of the space.
Pre and Post Lighting Upgrade
The Shire of Kojonup Sporting Complex is located on Benn Parade. The complex features a function room with a bar, kitchen, toilets and change rooms with a maximum occupancy is 80 standing and seated is 80 pax in accordance with the 2sqm that is current in affect. Attached to the Sporting Complex are two squash courts that can be hired out for $20.00 per hour.
There is parking available around the whole oval and also beside the building along side the hockey oval and swimming pool.

Sporting Complex Hire
The sporting complex is available to hire with additional costs for kitchen use and if the bar is needed.
To book this facility or part there of, please complete the Sporting Complex Booking Form and email to council@kojonup.wa.gov.au, contact the Shire Administration Office for more information.
Permission to consume alcohol at the premise is required from the Shire however if you wish to sell alcohol you also need to apply for a single use liquor licence here via the Department of Racing, gaming and Liquor.
