Registered Nurse
Full time - $79,999 – $89,999 per year
Springhaven Lodge is a 22 bed residential aged care facility in Kojonup, WA. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our small and close-knit team. The Registered Nurse provides a high level of leadership and clinical skill to the aged care facility ensuring best practice and quality of care.
This position can be full or part time hours, as a contract or permanent position. The flexibility of this position may suit applicants who need school or family-friendly hours. New graduate RNs are encouraged to apply.
Kojonup is located in the heart of the Great Southern only 2.5 hours from Perth and 1.5 hours from Albany on the main Albany Highway. It offers all necessary amenities such as shops, pharmacy, and a medical centre and bears all the trademarks of a country community, with its historic buildings and friendly, safe atmosphere.
Role/duties:
- Management of complex care needs
- Clinical assessments
- RN in charge
- Responding to and escalating care needs
- Clinical care (wound and continence care, palliative care, infection prevention and control, medication administration)
- Collaborate with external providers to deliver a high standard of care including consulting with local palliative care and mental health teams
- Care planning/evaluating
- Ability to participate in a rotating on-call roster (receive an on-call allowance)
- Leadership
